Brad graduated from the landscape architectural program (BLA) at the University of Guelph in 2006.  As Partner at SDG Landscape Architects, Brad’s work spans scales, from large-scale planning to detailed site design, with a focus on creating performance-based landscapes that merge creative and strategic thinking. Brad’s collaborative approach to projects is grounded in a deep understanding of place and context, seeking to shape environments that are both memorable and meaningful. Brad’s designs strive to foster emotional connections and elevate everyday experiences, believing that good design can transform spaces into vibrant, livable places.

Noteworthy award-winning projects include Waterloo Park Improvements (Waterloo), Casablanca Waterfront Park (Grimsby), Queens Square Restoration (Cambridge), Memorial Park Skate Loop (Hamilton), and the Cayuga Grand Vista Trail (Haldimand County).

Brad is a sessional instructor at the University of Guelph School of Landscape Architecture, where he leads classes focused on urban design, graphic communication, and master planning. His teaching emphasizes an integrative design process that considers ecological, innovative, socio-economic, human, and aesthetic factors.

Beyond the classroom, Brad actively mentors emerging landscape architects and designers, contributing to thesis committees, urban design review panels, public art juries, and engaging as a guest lecturer.  His dedication to advancing the field of landscape architecture is reflected not only in his professional portfolio but also in his commitment to education and mentorship.  Brad was the 2023 University of Guelph Alumni Volunteer Award recipient.
