CSLA Equity Lens Policy Review
Are you interested in contributing directly to the CSLA's governance and supporting a more equitable and inclusive professional community?
The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects' (CSLA) Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee is seeking members to volunteer for a focused review of CSLA policies to help ensure they reflect a strong and meaningful equity lens. This work supports CSLA’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, fairness, and sound governance across the profession.
The review will be conducted virtually, with meetings held approximately every 6–8 weeks from March to December 2026. The draft policies will be presented to the CSLA Board of Directors for approval.
The estimated time commitment is approximately 3–5 hours per meeting cycle, including meeting participation and advance document review.
Members interested in volunteering are asked to submit a brief CV outlining relevant experience or perspectives related to equity, governance, policy development, or professional practice. CSLA encourages expressions of interest from members with diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
