The CSLA is launching a Community of Public Practitioners (CoPP), a program connecting landscape architects, and emerging and allied professionals, working in public practice and academia across the country. Formerly known as the Municipal Roundtable, the CoPP is built to help you learn from one another: a space to share what you're working on, hear how others are approaching similar problems, and build a network of peers across the country.

- Build a network of colleagues across Canada you can turn to for advice, resources and support.
Public practice spans many areas: design, policy development, management, parks and public spaces, infrastructure and public works, environment and sustainability, and planning and development, to name a few. We welcome members from all areas of public practice to share their perspective and learn from others doing similar work.
What to Expect
Each CoPP session will bring together three to four public practitioners for talks on a shared topic, followed by a facilitated group discussion.

We are inviting CoPP members to contribute to upcoming discussions on topics such as:
- Leading with landscape in multidisciplinary project management
- Urban tree canopy, urban forest management, and wildfire mitigation
- Career development in non-traditional LA roles
