The “BC Landscape Standard” is unique in Canada. Subject to constant renewal and evolution since its first appearance in 1982, the 2012 Edition in its new format summarizes the best practices of landscape construction for reference by Consultants, Contractors, and governmental authorities throughout the province. The Standard is produced and maintained by the BCLNA and BCSLA joint Landscape Standard Committee, with the contributions over time of many expert volunteers. Committee members for the 2012 Edition included David Adkins and Cable Baker of the BCLNA, and Pawel Gradowski, Thomas Llewellin, Ken McKillop and Jessica Tan of the BCSLA.
