Celebrating the Past | Imagining the Future: CSLA Celebrates its 90th Anniversary in 2024
With the CSLA’s founding in 1934 as the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects and Town Planners, 2024 will see the association celebrating its 90th anniversary. In addition:
- the MALA will be celebrating its 50th anniversary
- the LACF will be celebrating 35 years since its first scholarship
- the University of Manitoba landscape architecture program will be celebrating its 52nd anniversary with the establishment of the program in 1972 and the first graduating class in 1974
Celebrating this CSLA milestone is an especially important opportunity to build morale, to bring people together and encourage connections, to showcase the CSLA’s track record and to celebrate milestones in the growth of the profession.
